Speaker bio:
Philip Shaw is Director of the King’s Maudsley Partnership for Children and Young People and Professor at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London, joining King's in October 2024.
Philip has been working at National Institutes of Health in the United States and brings a wealth of experience in ADHD and related disorders, utilising longitudinal genetic and imaging data to understand variations in these conditions and their long-term prognosis, amongst other things.
His research and experience will enhance strategy to better understand underpinning causes of mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders, in order to improve prevention and intervention.
