Centre for Family Research
I joined the CFR in October 2017 to undertake a Wellcome Trust Funded PhD, supervised by Professor Susan Golombok. Prior to the PhD, I graduated with a first class BA (Hons) Degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences from Queens’ College Cambridge. My PhD research took a social psychological approach to understanding the experiences of binary-trans, non-binary, and gender-questioning adolescents at school and the experiences of trans and/or non-binary parents within parenting spaces. I completed my PhD in 2021 and moved into a role as a Research Associate at the Centre. I left the CFR in 2022 to take up a new role elsewhere.
